Where it applies

Assume any outbound link to a product, plan set, tool or course is an affiliate link unless we say otherwise. Emails we send may also contain affiliate links, and those messages carry the same disclosure. Links to reference material — a building department, a standards body, an encyclopedia entry — are not affiliate links and earn us nothing.

What the arrangement does not buy

• Coverage cannot be purchased. No seller pays us to write about them or to reach a particular conclusion.
• We do not invent evidence. No fabricated reviews, no invented testimonials, no customer photographs that are not real, no results we did not get.
• We do not manufacture urgency. No countdown timers or invented deadlines on offers that have no deadline.
• We do not repeat a seller's claims as our own. Where a seller makes a performance or savings claim, that claim is theirs, and you should read their own terms, guarantee and refund policy before buying.
